Some of the Veerkracht Capsule Collection jeans had a natural Saharan Biospheric treatment created by regenerative forces of sand, sun and wind. This natural desizing process softened the fabric removing the sizing agents from warp yarn.
A Special Collaboration with Josien Verwoerd.
Josien gave a 3 week rust treatment for the DryIndigo denim fabric in Amsterdam. The fabric had been previously treated naturally at the Saharan FashionLab.
A Special Repairing and Reconnecting Process by Katja Kiviranta.
Katja gave new life to the deteriorated jeans from Veerkracht Soil FashionLab, Turku Archipelago. Katja used traditional handcraft methods of sashiko stitching, crochet and macrame. With love and care.
